We have a test scheduled on Monday to confirm, but our vet is relatively certain that Bonnie has Addison’s, which affects the adrenal gland’s ability to regulate things like electrolytes. After flushing her system with IV fluids to bring down her potassium level, she’s home, and completely exhausted. Not at all reassuring.
I’d give pretty much anything to see her be her usual energetic, happy-go-lucky self right now.
