It’s four weeks into the new year. About time for the new Couch to 5k folks to be a bit discouraged, no?

If you’re just starting to run and starting to wonder if this running thing is really for you - yes, it is! You’re doing great. If you’re ending each run out of breath and swearing at the squirrels (or treadmill), you’re going too fast (a very common mistake.) Slow down - the speed and endurance will come with time, and you’ll decrease your risk of injury. Everybody is different - find a running strategy that works for you. YES, you are a runner. You’ve got this!
